We Are All Connected
Dr. Elaine R.
As my life becomes calmer, more joyful, and healthier I encourage you to join with me to explore what you want in life and how to achieve what you want. I'd love to chat, explore, & guide you to a healthy, happy life.
I believe we are all one, part of a larger whole.
Each being is noticeable as a separate entity, yet it is simultaneously part of a whole system. While we humans observe and count separate selves, and pay a great deal of attention to the differences that seem to divide us, in fact we survive only as we learn how to participate in a web of relationships. Margaret J. Wheatley, 2006
Whatever each of us do affects everyone else, & what they do affects each of us. Many of you may have heard of the Butterfly Effect. A butterfly flaps its wings in one part of the world & influences the weather half-way around the world. The Butterfly Effect is a simple explanation of the unpredictability in complex systems. The world is made up of complex systems. With that in mind, & the simple definition of the Butterfly Effect, you get an idea of how my actions might effect you. Example, you are reading what I have written.
We do not live in seclusion. Though that might be the way many of us are feeling now with COVID-19. Despite many people staying apart, isolating in their homes, we have seen how easily this virus is transmitted.
The point of all of this: Be aware of what you say & do. You are influencing others & the environment. Think of rabbits in Australia.
I suggest we all make a point of being kind, respectful, compassionate, & caring. Build positive relationships that include being helpful, listening, & demonstrating care. You can be respectful even when you do not agree. Do the right thing.
