In this article, we discuss the International council of an archive campaign theme for International archive week June 8-14 2020 empowering knowledge societies, let's refer to the subject of this article, from our childhood to through our professional life we all are an archivist or document control, how?. it starts from our birth certificate then schooling documents, university documents, identification or travel documents, marriage documents, and business documents, In the current period we managed personal documents as per advanced techniques like we scanned documents, proper naming and create specific folders for easy retrieval, managing documents are mandatory for all otherwise we might face a lot of difficulties, now let's discuss, how important are documents management in our professional life or for our business, information is the lifeblood for any organization, without suitable document management system, a business may fail to get a result which they expected, as a case study about the importance of document management or archiving system, we take construction business as an example, in the current era this industry makes a significant impact about progress and achievements and documents play a vital role to make it happened, there are number of stakeholders invlove in construction business, externally we have different comapnies performing their role like client, PM / CM, cost consultant, design consultant, supervision consultant, contractor and sub contractors and internally we have number of deperments like, Constrcution team, design team, Document control, Quality, Projects control, cost control and others, flow of documents are uncountable on daily basis, all stages have various types of documents, at the end of project client and contractor kept Final original documents with them or as per contract.

 Document control plays a vital role from beginning to end of a project to ensure the proper flow of documents, document distribution, documents storage, documents quality, documents records, documents update, and Final documents handing over, Document control department is the only centralized hub of information, data, and records in any project  

In the current era, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies make our work much easier as compared to earlier, Document management or archive management become a value-added project management tool for current business, due to COVID-19 we are moving towards business Changement management in the form of digital management, where these tools will become a need of any business whether small or large, the business world more focusing on risk assessment as per the current situation and efficacious solution is to digitalize management process

Environmental benefits we may see in the form of the paperless business environment, the security of data, and records more efficient and more transparency in business activities, an effective document management system helps to perform automation business activities process more efficiently beyond our expectations

In the current business world, Archive or document management professional known by different names like an archivist, document controller, data controller, document specialist, data analyst, and others. 

Daily we all managing documents as per our nature of work personally and professionally respectively, it's doesn't require to be a professional document controller by position, from childhood to through our professional life we all are an archivist or a document controller.
