OHI Celebrates $50M in ‘Booked Business’ at OHCE

The?2023 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo?(OHCE2023) concluded with record-breaking numbers and an expo that featured over $50 million in booked business, according to a release from OHI , formerly known as the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.

The collective sales, reported by exhibitors and verified by a third-party research firm, included sales of a few thousand dollars all the way up to multiple millions. “No matter the size, each purchase had one thing in common — OHI members looking to improve the camper experience,” the release noted.

COE Opens Record-Breaking Expo in Branson, Mo.

The third annual?Campground Owners Expo?(COE) opened its expo on Wednesday (Nov. 30) afternoon as part of its new show format that features the expo at the front end of the four-day conference. The conference is being hosted at the Hilton Branson Convention Center in Branson, Mo.

The expo floor was busy throughout the four hours it was open on Wednesday, with vendors reporting to?Woodall’s Campground Magazine?(WCM) that so far the new format was something they liked. The expo floor features a record number of vendors, with 4-5 accommodation units on display.

C.A.M.P Registers as Nonprofit; Holds Two Meetings

The?Campground Association of Management Professionals?(C.A.M.P.) has officially registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and selected a board of directors, according to Michael Moore , a spokesman for the group.

“It was important for us to formalize our business structure to have the ability to do more on behalf of our members,” said Moore, who also serves as assistant executive director of the?Texas Association of Campground Owners.
