KOA Convention Kicks Off with a Welcome Reception

The Kampgrounds of America, Inc. 's?International Convention in Las Vegas kicked off on Tuesday (Nov. 14) evening with a Welcome Reception and an excursion to the?Beatles LOVE Cirque du Soleil?show at the Mirage — which is in a transition to the Hard Rock Hotel.

Held a few miles off the strip, Kama Humphrey , KOA’s director of training and events, noted that this year’s theme is?Viva KOA!?With Formula One set to be in town this weekend, Humphrey said that the Las Vegas strip is going to be filled with race fans and other unique opportunities throughout the week.?

Jellystone Celebrates Another Big Year During Conf.

Camp Jellystone - Franchisor of Jellystone Park? Camp-Resorts ?franchisees celebrated their 17th consecutive season of year-over-year growth on Tuesday (Nov. 14) as top Camp Jellystone officials commended park operators for their performance in 2023.

With Jellystone Park franchisees gathered in a conference room at the Knoxville Convention Center for the second day of their annual Symposium, a top official with Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors ?noted the striking financial performance of the Jellystone Park network as well as the fact that three Jellystone Park locations won Park of the Year awards last week from OHI ?(formerly the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds) during its Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo.

‘Jamestown’ Unveils ‘SiteSync,’ Expects a Strong ‘24

175-Site Fla. Park Bought by Zeman Homes for $10.5M

RV park in Largo, Fla., has sold to a Chicago-based investor for $10.5 million, according to the?Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Indian Rocks Travel Park, located at 12121 Vonn Road, has 175 sites on a nine-acre property, according to its website. The park was sold on Nov. 7 to an entity linked to Edward Zeman, of Zeman Homes, Inc. , according to a deed filed in Pinellas County.
