WCM’s Park Update: Csizmadia on New Role at CCRVC
This coming Tuesday (June 13), WCM’s Park Update, sponsored by? Bushtec Safari USA ,?catches up with Cara Csizmadia , the newly minted president of the? Canadian Camping and RV Association , about her new role with the association and on the advocacy work the association has been focused on in 2023.
From campground expansion issues, small business tax reform, electric vehicle concerns and more, Csizmadia gives WCM’s Park Update a great look at how park owners are fairing amid a continued surge in RVing. She also talks about her background as a park owner and how the industry has impacted her life.
N.J.’s DelVescio Meets with Elected Officials in D.C.
Joann DelVescio, executive director of the?New Jersey Campground and Outdoor Lodging Association?was in Washington, D.C., this week with members of the? RV Industry Association ?(RVIA) touting the RVing and camping industries across the U.S.
DelVescio had five meetings scheduled with New Jersey legislators including Congressman Josh Gottheimer, Congressman Chris Smith and Congressman Jeff VanDrew. Those legislators have a large concentration of campgrounds located within their districts.
DelVescio also held meetings with the staff of Senator Booker and Senator Menendez.
Paper: Pickleball is Hot and Parks are Taking Notice
Pickleball’s rise in popularity has been easy to spot across the country. The fast-paced game can be played by people of all ages and fitness levels and is a great way to stay active while having fun. Tennessee Cavern & Campground is Sold For $7M
The?Raccoon Mountain Caverns & Campground, one of Chattanooga, Tenn.’s oldest attractions, has sold for $7 million, according to?Chattanoogan.com.
The property was purchased from Raccoon Mountain Caverns & Campground LLC by Da-Cia RV Fund X LLC, Dacia RV Fund X LLC.
