WazirX Warriors Program ??

According to a September 2021 research by WazirX and industry body Nasscom, India's crypto tech industry now employs 50,000 people. It has grown at a rate of 39% in the last five years. Untapped potential India has in terms of the young population aiming to upskill themselves is tremendous.

Aiming to tap into this potential and boost the youth of India to ensure that it becomes a blockchain giant, WazirX has introduced various initiatives to ensure that crypto education is enabled in the country.

WazirX introduced the WazirX Warriors program in 2020 to support the micro-influencers already talking about crypto, blockchain, and Web3. WazirX Warriors are dedicated members of the WazirX community who, with the help of WazirX, are on a mission to teach the community about cryptocurrencies.

Since its inception, the program has bolstered the Warriors by ensuring they receive the proper training and reading material, direct access to the marketing resources, recognition on social media, and meetup sessions with brilliant minds in the community.?

Impact

Currently, the program is 680+ warriors strong and has a substantial geographical spread fortifying the informative content in various regional languages as well. Strikingly, the Tamil Warriors have formed a sub-community and have weekly expert sessions and meetups for learning on the go.?

The Army has created content on various topics such as tokens, blockchain basics, DeFi, USDT collapse, crypto tax, etc.

The program's heart and soul is crypto-sensitization, which has to remain the sole purpose of the content created by the warriors. However, besides crypto-sensitization, the program aims to assist the Warriors in augmenting their personal brand.

What does the Warrior do?

Be a crypto educator for those who are in your vicinity. This implies:

• Providing the right information, not "selling" them crypto
• Sensitizing them against fraud
• Advising them on how to safeguard their funds
• Increasing people's knowledge of cryptocurrencies without selling them any tokens

Organize

• Organize meetups in your city/town
• Organize webinars
• Organize campus outreach programs
• Attend crypto/blockchain events (offline and online)

Online activity

• Create content in regional languages: Status updates, facts, memes, and videos.
• Be active on Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Whatsapp groups, and Telegram groups
• Create memes. Memes are Education in 2022
• Spread the word in colleges around you
• Reach out to crypto/blockchain education providers so we can support them
