Waze Doesn’t Always Have the Answer

“What’s Next?” Those of us who are fanatics of The West Wing recognize this question as President Bartlett’s signature phrase that indicated he was ready to move on; to the next topic, meeting, or life-changing decision.

For this year’s college graduates, it’s the question most commonly being asked of them, or they are repeatedly asking themselves.

If you have been on LinkedIn over this past week, you have seen the numerous colleges and universities showing photos of their commencement exercises.?

In addition, there’ve been many posts offering a variety of sage advice to the class of 2022 as they figure out what’s next.?

One particularly interesting article appeared in Forbes Magazine that offers 14 Tips For College Graduates.

A few particular suggestions of note include:

  • Continue with a commitment and strategy to learning it - ?doesn't stop with college.
  • Don’t expect to make perfect choices - transitioning from college to working is one of the hardest; learn from your choices and keep moving forward.
  • Don’t be in a rush - The world is a rather big place; if you can take some time to explore it, do so before settling on a career path.
