It's normal to feel like you don't have time to be mindful in your busy daily life. But even just 10 minutes a day can make a difference.
The goal of these quick mindfulness moments is to help you find calmness when life gets overwhelming.?
Practicing mindfulness regularly can improve your memory, concentration, and ability to handle difficult situations, like dealing with the pandemic.
There are many ways to practice mindfulness, but all of them involve paying attention to your thoughts and feelings without judging them. This helps you stay focused on the present moment with a sense of acceptance.
A quick and easy way to start practicing mindfulness is through Simple Meditation.
Find a comfortable spot, like sitting on a chair or cross-legged on the floor. Focus on your breath, feeling the air going in and out through your nostrils or noticing your belly rising and falling as you breathe. After concentrating on your breathing, broaden your awareness to include sounds, sensations, and thoughts. Accept and explore each without judgment.

Another? way to practice mindfulness can be "Open Awareness." It allows you to be fully present and engaged in specific moments of your life. You can use open awareness in various daily tasks like eating, walking, showering, cooking, or gardening.?
Directing your attention to various thoughts, objects, and sensations is another method of practicing mindfulness. To begin, find a quiet place to sit with your eyes closed, and focus on the following:
Sensations: Pay attention to subtle feelings in your body, like an itch or tingling. Observe these sensations without judgment and allow them to pass. Take note of each part of your body from head to toe.
Sights and sounds: Notice the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches around you. As you observe them, label them in your mind as "sight," "sound," "smell," "taste," or "touch" without any judgment. Then, let them go.
Emotions: Embrace your emotions without judging them. Practice calmly and openly acknowledging your feelings, such as "joy," "anger," or "frustration."
