This model is based on my experience and attempts to illustrate that several ways can lead to fulfilling one’s potential. For some, it means a dedication to one way. For others, it might be that they work their way through all the ways.
At a given point, one might find oneself at one of the stations described in this article.
If you’re interested in learning more about your current station, DM me, and I’ll send you a questionnaire to complete.
- Self-Improvement Way: “I am more.” This way emphasises continual enhancement through setting and achieving meaningful goals, developing positive habits, and engaging in lifelong learning. The focus is on unlocking potential, cultivating a growth mindset, and striving for personal excellence in various aspects of life, such as career, health, and relationships.
- Psychology Way: “I am this.” Centred on self-discovery and understanding, this approach involves delving into one’s psychological makeup to uncover core values, beliefs, and motivations. It encourages the integration of shadow aspects, fosters self-compassion, and uses psychological tools to navigate life’s challenges and achieve a balanced and authentic sense of self.
- Spirituality Way: “I am that”. This focuses on spiritual growth and awakening to one’s essence beyond the ego. Mindfulness, meditation, and self-inquiry cultivate present-moment awareness, embrace impermanence, dissolve attachments, and develop a profound sense of interconnectedness and compassion towards all beings.
- Philosophy Way: “Why am I?”. The philosophical way involves deep reflection on the meaning and purpose of life. It combines ancient wisdom and modern scientific insights to explore fundamental questions about existence. This way encourages balancing rational thought with emotional intelligence, fostering continuous learning, and living authentically aligning with one’s values and beliefs.

- Self-Improvement and Spirituality: “I am transcending”. Combining the pursuit of personal development with spiritual practices aims to transcend current limitations and achieve higher states of being. It involves integrating spiritual insights into everyday self-improvement efforts, fostering a sense of purpose and inner peace while striving for external achievements.
- Self-Improvement and Philosophy: “I am questioning”. This overlap uses philosophical inquiry to guide self-improvement. It encourages deep questioning of one’s goals, motivations, and actions, fostering a reflective approach to personal growth. By examining life’s fundamental questions, individuals can align their self-improvement efforts with a broader understanding of their purpose and values.
- Psychology and Spirituality: “I am aware”. Merging psychological insights with spiritual awareness enhances self-understanding and present-moment consciousness. It involves using psychological tools to address emotional and cognitive patterns while cultivating spiritual practices that promote mindfulness, compassion, and a more profound sense of connection with the world.
- Psychology and Philosophy: “I am connected.” This overlap connects philosophical insights with psychological understanding to foster a deeper connection with oneself and others. It involves exploring psychological concepts’ intellectual underpinnings and encouraging a holistic approach to personal growth that integrates rational thought with emotional and social awareness.
