Every now and then, it happens - we lose our mojo; we feel like we have no spark and very little?energy to get it back again. But as hard as it may seem when it's lost, finding your spark can be quite easy if you choose the right attitude, set an intention, and then take action to make it happen.?
Remember it's temporary
Losing your spark is part of life - things are always going to go up and down.?If you're feeling less sparky than usual, remember that the only constant is change, and an upturn is coming.?
Remember who you are?
The truth of who we are sometimes becomes unclear because life has thrown us off course. There are many different experiences we go through that affect our sense of self and make us question our core values. Take time to reflect on what your values are and what is important to you. Are you being true to who you are? If not entirely, find ways to be more "you" in the coming days.?
Stay curious?
You may have lost your spark but should never stop being curious. Curiosity opens new doors, it is part of your self-discovery and?helps with creativity. You can be more curious by?going somewhere new, starting a new hobby, researching an interesting topic or undertaking some kind of learning.?
Fight negative thoughts
When you've lost your mojo, negative thoughts can cause your self-esteem and positive thinking to plummet very quickly. Try positive affirmations to deflect negative thoughts. Turn every negative thought into a positive one. Maybe even spend some time reminding yourself of just how awesome you are, and all the things - big and small - that you have accomplished in your life.?
Rest and recharge
When you have lost your spark, it's especially important to rest. Pushing yourself harder when you're not feeling sparky can be quite detrimental, so make sure you take time to rest and recharge. No matter how busy you are, it's always possible to make time for self care.?
Do things that spark joy
Think about the things that truly spark joy in you - and then do more of them! This is about taking decisive action towards bringing more joy, happiness and fulfilment into your day.?
