This message is for all the wonderful coaches who work in this noble profession…..
· Be different. In a world where we are all striving to be like everyone else and compare ourselves to one another – fight this. Be unique. Be original. Be authentically you. Your best coaching is found here.
· Watch your language! Replace all the “I should….” “I need to….” with “I want to…..” “I choose to…..”. Be intentional about your language. Your brain is listening.
· Quit focusing on money. Money is green pieces of paper that flow through the world. Focus on your value. Figure out how to bring your full self to your profession – that is real value. Wealth will follow.
· Move. Take action to move forward. You are meant to put yourself out there and connect with the clients who are waiting for you.
· Connect: Business is not done behind a computer screen – it is in the human connections.
· Make mistakes. Do not let your quest for perfectionism slow you down. You are on a personal journey too. There are no mistakes.
· Eat Your Own Cooking. Delve into self-awareness and on-going personal development. Be honest with yourself and own your own stuff. We are all flawed human beings and divinely perfect at the same time.
· Surround yourself with inspiration. Listen to interesting people. Be quiet with reflective solitude. Spend your time wisely. Everything originates in your thoughts. Choose wisely.
· Do business your way. There are thousands of ways to do marketing, sales, business development. Tune out the chatter. Listen to your intuition. Build your business in a way that brings you energy, joy and is the full expression of you.
· Watch your judgement. Judging other’s approaches, methods, tactics etc. is a derailer. Judgement is about our own insecurities and it serves no purpose.
· Always be growing. When things go well, ask yourself “What did I learn?” When things don’t go well ask yourself “What did I learn?” There are personal and business insights in every decision.
· Your “Why” is your anchor. When you feel untethered….go back to your WHY. What is coaching about for you? How are you measuring your success?
· Support Others. Life is not about competition -- it’s about connection. Everyone you meet is purposeful. Show love and be loved by others. It’s in our DNA. Don’t let it go untapped.
· Grow strong roots. Be a coach and Do your business. Make sure what you do flows from the energy of who you are. Brilliance radiates when being and doing align.
