Ways to beat the Bedtime Blahs!
- Set an alarm for when its time to go to bed. Yes, an hour ahead helps us to prepare the transition from a wound up day to relaxed snooze time.
- Be sure you are staying hydrated through the night. How about some herbal tea with a drop of Lavender Vitality essential oils from Young Living. Pure relaxing assistance. Be sure its at least an hour before bed to minimize night bathroom trips.
- Write notes for tomorrow. Give yourself the advantage of a positive game-plan for the next day. This relieves a lot of tossing and turning over how the next day is going to play out.
- Lay out your AM success path. Before bed make sure you have your entire outfit layed out and ready to go. Prep breakfast and lunch items when needed to have fewer chores looming over you when rising.
5. For that last hour of the day, ditch the tech and read! The screen lights can mess with your sleep pattern. Keeping the tech out of the bedroom can help shift to a relaxing and calm state of mind.
6. Once you have a comfortable routine, your mind and body are ready for good sleep for the night. Diffuse or apply Stress Away to you or your pillow and you are off to slumberland!
