THIS IS THE WAY: A step by step guide to AWS centric events for partners!

CADyshack, the worlds largest AWS Partner Alliance Community (PAC), has created 30 Plus events in the last 15 months, and all of them have been what I would call successful. As a goal CADyshack will get the right attendees to the event, whether that be strictly AWS Account Managers or leaders of leaders. For a partner to get more than just a call list and logo recognition the onus falls on the process. The process is more important than the event. Below you will find the six (6) next steps that must be a part of every event to make it a success in the eyes of your CRO, CTO, and CEO.

Step 1: Pre-Game: Before you throw the event there needs to be a landing page where your attendees can put their information in to register. The information you will need for AWS centric events will be their names, alias (email Address), division they work for, and title. During your event make sure you find out who shows up at the event, who does not. This is not as important, but if you wish to send what I call the “Guilt” email (“Why didn’t you come to my event, I spent so much money?”), you will need it (not recommended). You should have access to the total registered list the night of the event.?During the event there should be some kind of messaging that says loudly to all attendees that the sponsors will be reaching out to the attendees in order to help increase partner attached rates from .............
