In The Strategic Game of Interaction and Isolation, Boyd examines how to fold adversaries back inside themselves, morally, mentally-physically. At the end of this brief, Boyd provides the following definitions of Evil and Corruption. ?

Evil occurs when individuals or groups embrace codes of conduct or standards of behavior for their own personal well-being and social approval, yet violate those very same codes or standards to undermine the personal well-being and social approval of others.

Corruption occurs when individuals or groups, for their own benefit, violate codes of conduct or standards of behavior that they profess or are expected to uphold.

For those of you who have been following the No Way Out, you know humans seek to maximize evidence for their existing internal models or minimize surprise (free energy). ?

We can minimize surprise by making our Orientation compatible with our Observations—that is we update our internal model (Orientation)of the outside environment through adaption and/or learning. ?

A second way to minimize surprise or maximize evidence for our Orientation is to emit some action (an overt action) intended to change the outside world. On the surface, there is not much wrong with this approach as long as the environment offers such change (Affordance and/or Adjacent Possible).

If we consider the OODA loop as a flow system, with the currency of information as the lifeblood of sentient systems, our adversaries' can attack our OODA loop (or we can attack theirs) at two key points: (1) from the outside-in, controlling the flow of information (Information Warfare) or (2) from inside-out, attacking the internal Design of the system (Cognitive Warfare) to change the way it operates.
