The way back

There has been much discussion in recent weeks over how the future of food service will adapt and change over the next year. Most accept that the next 6 months will pose many challenges; challenges which could lead to real change in models, alliances and in the role of food service within business. Will the changes, though, be long lasting? Forecasts seem to expect only 15% of teams to return to offices pre-September and only rising to 50% by the year end. However what will be seen in 2021?

In webinars, hosted by EP, over the last month many do believe it will be a two year road to recovery with most hospitality businesses not expecting to reach 2019 levels again until late 2022. Do you have similar expectations or see more positivity?

Other leading questions for discussion include:

?            There is an increasing concern over how hard it may prove to re-engage teams/employees back into office but is this too just short term?

?            Work patterns have natural changed so what are the expectations for how many working environments will appear in a year’s time?

?            What new services will emerge?

?            How will technology impact?

?            What will be the primary areas of focus?

?            How will sustainability - social, cultural and environmental - impact on future decision making?

?            Will the traditional relationships/partnerships with food service players change? Will models change?

All are key questions to be considered.

EP are delighted to be joined by a number of leading speakers to discuss the above and to understand just how the landscape for food service in 2021 will look.

The event takes place on line on Wednesday 22nd July 2020 between 14.00 and 16.40.

Along with the expert panel, Julian Fris from Neller Davies, has been invited to speak about how collaboration could be the new competition and you can join the webinar at: https://zoom.us/j/97064807546?pwd=R1NraVF2bE9ZWTVZZjQ2VkNxNFl3dz09

We look forward to seeing you then.

I'm really looking forward to this angle on a much discussed topic - it promises to be intriguing _ i'm prepared to be 'glued to my seat'!

On the team question - if the teams are engaged now then that makes the journey easier . It’s important to recognise that everyone is in different stages of the journey. I’m sure Wednesday will be enlightening & interesting
