Waxahachie Approves Impact Fee Increase of between 8% and 51%

On December 7, 2020, the City of Waxahachie City Council approved a change to the City’s development impact fee (“DIF”) structure.

Starting January 7, 2021, the DIFs per single-family detached home are increasing from $1,499 to $2,216 (48%) for water; and from $1,987 to $2,321 (17%) for wastewater.

Additionally, roadway DIFs are increasing from a range of between $1,695 and $3,650 to between $2,565 and $3,947 (8% to 51%) depending on the service area.
