Wave Q1 2024 Recruitment Trends Report
In line with the usual new year boost to activity, the start of Q1 2024 was the busiest, with a rise in both jobs and applications, but the quarter as a whole was relatively active – a good start to the year despite the general feeling in the industry that jobs are plummeting.
Jobs rose from Q4 2023 and applications maintained the levels seen in Q4, which saw the highest numbers of applications of 2023.
As well as headline jobs and applications data, we share:
? Industries posting the most jobs and those receiving the greatest volume of applications
? Industries receiving the highest and lowest average numbers of applications per job
? Plus insights into the platforms that you are using to post your jobs to and the ones that are producing the highest numbers of applications.
