Watt's New? | November

Welcome to the November edition of "Watts New", Cleanwatts' monthly?email newsletter!?The last month was a busy one.

Here at Cleanwatts, we were lucky enough to have a fully-packed agenda for all of October. From Lisbon to Milan, we got to be part of PropTech Lab's pioneer networking event as they turn their eyes to the Iberian Peninsula. Very well represented by Rui Queiroga, we joined in on the discussion around?"Cutting edge innovations in construction and real estate" and how the sector plays a key role in fulfilling Europe's 2030 Decarbonization Agenda.

And we hope to have had the chance to meet some of you in Milan?this month. From the 22nd to the 24th of October, we made the most out of 2024's edition of Enlit Europe. From meetings to exclusive, live demos of our Cleanwatts OS, it's always a great opportunity to discuss how we can partner with companies around the world to reduce their energy costs and create new revenue sources.

In more local news, we have kick-started a unique partnership with Critical Software: in a joint effort between our two companies, Critical will now have a Virtual Renewable Energy Community (V-REC). Critical employees across Portugal can join the Energy Community that is closest to them and access clean, cheaper energy. Thanks to Cleanwatts' OS, all employees will be agregated within a Virtual Community that creates energy cost savings for anyone who joins. This is effectively an employee perk that is created not with additional spending but from savings. It will also be a huge advancement for Critical software towards meeting their ESG goals.

Did we spark your interest? Contact us to explore how a Virtual Renewable Energy Community can benefit your organization. Let's talk!

I would like to invite you to keep on reading and find out what we have been up to this past month:

?? Who said football can't be a player in the energy transition? We are creating an Energy Community with the oldest football team in Portugal.

???We held an exclusive webinar about local energy markets and grid congestion.

?? One more Energy Community in Portugal is already fully booked.

Thank you for joining us on this journey towards a cleaner, brighter future. We are always happy to stay in touch and discuss how we can bring the energy transition where it matters most together.

Aron Lazarchick | VP of Growth and Marketing

We are joined by a historic team in moving the energy transition forward.

Associa??o Académica de Coimbra - OAF is now one step closer to become the first?fully decarbonized football team in Portugal. With an installation of more than 3 500 PV panels in the city's stadium, this Community will deliver clean energy to more than 1700 families in the city. You can read all about it here.

It's time we tackle grid congestion, while keeping cost reduction in mind.

We were joined by?Michael Villa from smartEn Smart Energy Europe?and?Neil Bailey from NODESmarket, to discuss the exciting developments in the world of energy management.? Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to this exciting, and much needed, discussion. Want to catch up on what you might have missed? Portugal counts another region consuming locally produced energy.

Yet another one of our Energy Communities is now fully booked and no longer taking any more members. This means that 100% of the energy produced in Penacova's Renewable Energy Community is being consumed by its anchor clients and members. Another win for local decarbonization!

Thanks for plugging in!

We hope you enjoyed this month's "Watts New". Stay tuned for more updates on clean energy and a brighter future. We will see you next month!
