Waterloo
All good things come to an end and on Friday my son Mark "Met his Waterloo" on the set of Jeopardy.
After an exciting 5 days of both runaway wins and heart-stopping last-minute victories his "luck" (as he described this journey) ran out and he lost in game 6.
Despite that it was quite the adventure as he became the first 5-time winner of this season and qualified for the Tournament Of Champions later in the year. That makes him the 280th competitor in the last 40 years that has won 5 games or more.
Number 1 on his bucket list during Covid was to secure a place on Jeopardy which he duly did this year (and more) and the rest as they say is history.
He met and surpassed his dreams and, in the process, made us all (family and friends) proud.
#followyourdreams, #thinkbig, #believe
p.s. The silver lining is this is the last post form this proud dad that you will have to endure on this subject (for now)

1 个月He seemed a bit down last Friday...maybe a letdown after qualifying for the Tournament of Champions. Of course, his knowledge and speed on the buzzer could still beat the two of us old codgers combined! Congrats again to all!
