Here is a brief run over some other industry news that caught my eye this week – hopefully you find it interesting too!

SUEZ to pilot Salinity Solutions' low energy reuse technology in France. The Global leader has signed an agreement to pilot an innovative reverse osmosis system at a fully operational wastewater treatment plant in France. The system is super efficient in using less energy, generating less waste and purifying a higher amount of wastewater!

CEO of Salinity Solutions Richard Bruges expressed his view and said:

“I’m delighted to formalise this partnership with SUEZ which is a tremendous milestone for our company. With global water demand set to double over the next five years, efficient wastewater reuse is essential. Working with Suez, we can bring significant energy and water savings to the municipal sector and other industries.”

SEWA installs 91,155 smart water meters in Sharjah, which offer higher accuracy compared to traditional meter. They also allow for more precise monitoring and control, which can send alerts to customers as soon as they detect sudden high-water consumption or leaks.

Veolia launches over 30 PFAS treatment projects in U.S drinking water. Veolia has reported that over 30 of its sites are now registering undetectable levels of regulated PFAS chemicals which contaminates our drinking water. They have installed new treatment at 17 separate water wells in New York, with other ongoing projects due to be revealed in four other states.
