FEATURE OF THE WEEK

Last week, Jackson Hogg had the pleasure of chatting with Craig Dallison ; CEO of Everflow who gave us an insight into the business and what has catapulted their success since launching in 2015.

Everflow; a customer-focused utilities company serving a variety of businesses across the UK with environmentally-friendly water supply and waste collection services, is now the fastest-growing business utilities supplier in the UK! With a strong focus on sustainability and creating more manageable utilities all-round, Everflow also highlights the value of smart metering and its impact on the environment by making communities more aware of their energy and water usage. They work in partnership to offer smart metering options and alternatives to their customers to identify leaks, manage water supply, and encourage less water usage.

Craig gives us an overview of Everflow and their efforts towards sustainability and shares his view on working for an SME business.

An Introduction to Everflow.

“Everflow is a customer-focussed, ‘Excellent’-rated utilities company serving businesses across the UK with environmentally friendly water supply, waste collection and connectivity services.??

Everflow’s mission is to ‘make utilities simple’ which is why its services are designed to save customers both time and money, freeing them up to focus on growing their business.?

Since launching in 2015, Everflow has gained over 100k customers, almost 200 employees and has been accredited as an 'Outstanding' place to work, as well as winning multiple awards for growth, innovation and customer service.”

The Secret to Everflow's Success.

"Our bespoke technology allows for simple and efficient quoting, contracting and account management, meaning brokers love to sell our services and customers can benefit from a high level of customer service and great value pricing due to our efficient set-up.

Alongside this, we have a strong focus on sustainability and offer added value services such as our recently launched 'EcoMOT' offering, which involves a full assessment of a business's site to identify areas for saving money, water, energy and carbon emissions.

Originally starting out as a water retailer, we soon became the fastest-growing in the market and decided to offer our same great service across other utilities verticals, with the ultimate aim of providing customers with one bill, one account and one point of contact for all their utilities. In addition to water, we now offer?waste collection and connectivity services, too. Throughout the next 3-4 years our plan is to occupy other avenues such as energy, all while driving positive change in the environmental space."

Craig's take on working for an SME business.?

"Although I come from a multinational background, I much prefer working within an SME business. I find them more exciting as the pace is significantly quicker. As well as this, I find your work is more likely to have a significant impact which is certainly motivating.?

Moreover, it is important to remember that relatively small businesses are the ones affected by the weight of utility bills and the increasing cost of operations, and although driving the cost down is crucial, if we can get in?front?of demonstrating how people can drive their overall water consumption down then genuine savings will follow."
