  1. Moisture-Holding Capacity:Humic acid increases the moisture-holding capacity of soil across various soil types, including heavy clay and sandy soils. In heavy clay soils, which tend to be compacted and restrict root growth, humic acid helps by improving water absorption and retention. Similarly, in sandy soils, where water retention is often a challenge due to their coarse texture, humic acid assists in holding moisture.
