As this post comes up, we’re in the 8th day of Chinese New Year. Lots of people would have googled their year’s forecast based on their own animal sign. So, what is your horoscope prediction for the Red Fire Monkey? Good, bad, fair?

I say it doesn’t matter. Think about it, twelve animal signs across a 12-year cycle, who wouldn’t have their ups and downs in over a decade? Some years are glorious, some pass without occasion, and some are downright hard. It’s all the same for the best of us.

Here’s my guesstimate prediction for P1:

The only thing that ever matter is how we choose to think and react to negativity, unexpected twists and turns or failures. Some schools teach this skill from young and promises to successfully prepare students to handle their life challenges in adulthood. Guaranteed to come in handy!

I don’t know what they teach, but I found a quote from Bruce Lee that is very instructive for tackling the biggest and baddest of opposing forces.

Absolutely love this quote, which speaks to me of open-mindedness, learning ability, versatility, and adaptability. Exactly what we at P1 is working to become so that we can always be responsive to customers’ needs. This as opposed to being RIGID: Too big, too arrogant, too difficult, don’t care.

So what if our customers don’t like what we’re serving up? As long as we keep an open mind, learn quickly, and is versatile enough to quickly adapt - come what may, we’ll be okay. More than that, we’ll be a fantastic company!
