Water drop hollows a stone: the show must go on.

Water drop hollows a stone: the show must go on.

Ladies & Gentlemen,

as you may have already noticed, water drop hollows a stone and definitely not by force, but by falling often.

This main phrase is from Ovid, Epistulae ex Ponto IV, 10, 5.; which has been expanded in the Middle Ages, and this pretty much keeps me alive, especially while running businesses in North / South-America, the Middle East and Asia.

Even though I just and most recently, have purchased an apartment Dubai The Palm (March 2024), yesterday, November 13th 2024, another unit at Dubai South has been acquired. All my properties are non-mortgaged and just those two: a net price of US$ 493,000 / gross US$ 532,000 - and this is when it comes down to designation. I measure success by the result, at the end of the day it is the result that counts and not how many opportunities we could have had in the pipeline.

This year is almost over, there would have been so much more to be done, we could have done so much better and achieved even better results, at the end of the day there are loads of obstacles and barriers to break, and almost all of those are unpredictable, could not have been foreseen.

At the moment, while writing this very article, I'm sitting at the Aloft Hotel Dubai Airport Terminal 1, where I'm getting ready for my departure to Chongqing, and later on Shanghai the day after tomorrow. Unfortunately, 中国国航 does not permit online check-ins and want to actually meet every passenger face to face, especially as a Star Alliance Gold member, I'm deeply honored to having flown this route quite frequently and my Chinese residence visa should already be in their system. Well, on all other Star Alliance routes, online and mobile check-in is available, but Air China seems to be different. Being different can be difficult for a lot of people, however, there's a reason for PRSC Beijing - Belize - Dubai - Houston to consider our core business, especially banking, being in Belize, Dubai and Houston instead of the Xi regimes and it's absolute communists. China is extremely different to the rest of the world and yes there's a lot of opportunity here, however, when it comes to the airline, they could have done so much better, but they are still rather unattractive when it comes to customer service, they are not even able to enter or add passengers' membership numbers on tickets, this cannot even be done through an ordinary booking process. The key issue is that without an actual boarding pass, it is not even possible to sail through immigration, and having to actually wait until their check-in counter, at boarding area 5, opens up. Now it is 7.33pm and their Star Alliance Gold Counter opens up at 10.00pm sharply.

Austria, China and the United States, but there's the UAE:

An egg a day, for breakfast, this is where it all starts: breakfast.

Eggs are also a great source of heart-healthy nutrients like potassium, folate and B vitamins. Some research suggests that up to two eggs per day actually improves heart health. As with anything, moderation is important, especially if you enjoy eggs daily, and while running businesses in various time-zones, it almost feels like hunting for eggs. I do and sometimes wonder what came first, the egg or the chicken.

Boiled Egg # Breakfast Buffet #

In my opinion, I believe that the chicken came first, especially while considering this extremely valuable and vital scenario. One animal met another, and out of a sudden they had a child, this child - out of a sudden- produced eggs, instead of an actual embryo. There you go, life can be full of surprises, and even though, scientifically, it is being discussed, whether this might be the reason for us to eating eggs, there could be also and plenty of other reasons behind the scenes. One day or another we are going to find out, and yes, if you don't believe it, I believe it and this is probably more than enough.

Double Espresso for Breafkast

As long as the day starts with an espresso, I'm prepared for the worst case scenario, even for the Germans to declaring a state of emergency, and the United States being lead by a different politician every 4 years. From where I stand, I would rather enjoy a one party nation, or absolute monarchy, at least people don't have to worry about each and every single word that comes out of the moth of a politician. Being able to focus and less to worry about, this is what makes the difference between a rather weak, vs strong and powerful economy.

Being in the lead of a leading and former state owned food and beverage importer, based in the capital of one of the most powerful nations, cities on earth definitely comes with political disadvantages, however, there are also drawbacks while not living in democracy.

Even North Korea calls themselves democratic republic of North Korea, and Russia, a constitutional federal republic, and even Germany, Federal Republic of Germany. I don't know what to believe and what not to believe, however, once you are in Europe, and not as a tourist, I strongly believe that there's an absolute communistic regime, and while China being called out for all the same, it is rather capitalism, being combined with hard work.

To be continued, I'm getting ready to roll and to return to China Mainland tonight.
