Water-cooled Air Compressor is really much better ?
According to the cooling method, the air compressor models can be divided into air-cooled air compressors and water-cooled air compressors. There is no obvious difference between air-cooled air compressor and water-cooled air compressor in terms of machine operating parameters, and both are suitable for long-term continuous operation. But because of the different models of air compressors, their working principles and advantages are also different.
1. According to the traditional concept, the cooling effect of water cooling is better than that of air cooling. There are two reasons for this:
(1) There are only a few large international companies with complete technology and the forefront of technology that can adopt air cooling on large displacement air compressors
It can only be achieved, so many manufacturers who do not have this ability have long instilled the concept of water cooling over air cooling in their customers, forming thinking inertia.
(2) Ignore the long-term requirements of water-cooling methods for circulating water quality.
2. Advantages of air-cooled air compressor:
(1) Early-stage equipment investment and maintenance of the water-free cooling circulation system and long-term dependence on the circulation system and water quality.
(2) There is no need to clean and maintain the water cooler of the air compressor regularly, which reduces the risk of shutdown due to maintenance.
(3) Reduced initial investment and equipment operation costs.
3. Matters needing attention when adopting air-cooling method: air-cooling is dependent on air, and the preliminary work is to make a wind deflector and connect the air compressor
The intake and exhaust air is exported to the outside of the machine room, which can avoid over-temperature shutdown caused by the circulation of cooling air in the machine room in high temperature days.
