November has been another busy and exciting month for us, including conferences, a commendation and the launch of EcoCosi…
Our colleagues began the month at BE-ST Fest and the International Retrofit Conference hosted by Built Environment - Smarter Transformation . Here, they were on hand to answer questions on the vital work we do towards accelerating decarbonisation in homes across Scotland.
We then attended the Climate Action Summit hosted by Holyrood Communications in Edinburgh, where our colleague’s provided information on how we can support organisations to progress on their net zero journeys.
We were delighted to receive a commendation in the Service Scotland Award category at the VIBES Awards 2023. A big congratulations to our colleagues for their dedicated hard work.
In mid-November we focussed on Scottish Careers Week and gave you the chance to meet some of our amazing colleagues, find out what working at Changeworks means to them and get an insight into their roles.

As part of their 40th anniversary celebrations, Energy Action Scotland held their Annual Conference where our colleagues attended and utilised the opportunity to find out more about how we can work towards to elimination of fuel poverty.
A big moment this month has been celebrating the achievement of two Cairn Housing Association properties receiving the EnerPHit standard. A big thank you and well done to those involved in making this pilot project happen.
Towards the end of the month our expert attended the Behave Conference and presented their soon-to-be published report findings, which detail the experiences of early adopters of zero direct emissions heating systems in Scotland.
The final event of the month was the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) Energy and Net Zero Conference. Several of our colleagues were in attendance and presenting including our Chief Executive, Josiah Lockhart , who opened the conference alongside the SFHA and Warmworks .
November was also a momentous occasion for us, as we officially launched our EcoCosi retrofit service to support homeowners on their retrofitting journey. The service will help make homes warmer whilst reducing carbon emissions to tackle the climate emergency.
