"Home is where you go to find solace from the ever changing chaos, to find love within the confines of a heartless world, and to be reminded that no matter how far you wander, there will always be something waiting when you return." ?~ Kendal Rob
Hugs. Stories. Laughter. Gentleness. Love. Slowing down. Sitting down. Good food. Where can we experience these things?
Home.
If home is where the heart ?? is, then we must return often. Home can be the place we grew up, a boat on the ocean, our college friends, or the front porch of Grandma's house. It's important to visit these places! We easily fill our days with the DOING of life, and time flies when we do.
When we focus on the BEING in our lives, we savor experiences, move through the day, and almost stop time. We feel comfort, safety, and compassion from the environment where we flourished, surrounded by the familiar sights and sounds that feed our souls.
Decide today to strengthen that heartbeat, not by doing more, but by being more. This happens naturally when we venture home.
TAKE-ACTION: Choose a date in your calendar. Make a plan to visit family, friends, or an event in your hometown. Experience a sensory immersion that leaves you feeling like you've had the best sleep of your life!
Make it a strong day! ??????
