EPC has produced a series of short videos that show many of the applications for our eGaN FETs and ICs that are currently in production.
- Video 1 is an overview. We walk through applications in medical diagnostics, satellite systems, DC-DC converters, LiDAR systems, envelope tracking systems, and LiDAR systems.
- Video 2 drills into wireless charging and wireless energy transfer. We show AirFuel and multi-mode systems you can buy today, as well as drones that are charged in mid-flight,
- Video 3 is all about LiDAR. eGaN FETs can produce very short (4 ns) pulses at high current (8 A) with rise and fall times of ~200 ps.
- Video 4 shows the latest in envelope tracking for 4G/LTE base stations. Our four-phase system has a 20 MHz bandwidth.
- Video 5 showcases eGaN FETs and ICs that can go from 48 V to load voltage with high power density and low cost. We demonstrate both 48 V - 1.8 V and 48 V - 1 V DC-DC converters with state-of-the-art efficiency and power density.
- Video 6 is about our 700 W 48V - 12V (nominal) 1/8 Brick DCX converter. That's right, 700 W in an eighth brick!
