PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES

Executive TV are proud to announce Advanced Manufacturing, the latest episode of our long running series Engineering The Future. In this program we’ll be talking to three manufacturers who are focused on delivering advanced products to discuss what it takes to lead the field. We’ll be discussing everything from R&D to investment in new techniques to recruiting the right people.

Every aspect of manufacturing has seen huge change in the past two decades. New materials and new techniques combine together to deliver new products built in ways we could never have imagined before. Manufacturers are constantly pushing to do better than their competition; higher quality, faster production and cheaper processes. This program will look at the challenges of being on the cutting edge of an industry and how businesses can overcome them and reap the benefits.

In this program we’ve brought together three contributors who have proven themselves to be real leaders in their field.

NMS developed a world leading laser measurement system used across the automotive industry to deliver exceptional quality control.

Advanced Manufacturing will be first broadcast on our usual channel, Propeller TV (Sky 185) on Sunday 15th of July at 10am and repeated on Sunday 12th of August at 10am. After the initial broadcast the program will be available online at www.executivetv.org with the rest of our digital archive.
