Waste Heat Recovery--Plate Type

"Waste heat" refers to the heat discharged into the surrounding atmospheric environment with the thermal working medium, called "waste heat". These heat is widely distributed in industrial production, its amount is also relatively large, and it is also a "secondary energy".

The main sources of waste heat are as follows:

1.?high temperature flue gas waste heat

The temperature of the working medium is high, the heat is large, and the proportion of recoverable residual heat is high, accounting for about 50% of the total residual heat resources.

2.?the waste heat of combustible waste gas/liquid waste: accounting for about 8% of the total residual heat.

3.?the waste heat generated by the chemical reaction of substances: about 5% to 9% of the total waste heat resources.

4.?cooling medium waste heat: about 15% to 23% of the total waste heat resources.

5. the residual heat of high-temperature slag of high-temperature products: about 6% to 14% of the total residual heat.

6.?the waste heat of the exhaust gas and waste water: the residual heat brought into the atmosphere and the environment accounts for about 10% to 16% of the total resources.


Waste heat recovery and utilization of plate heat exchangers can be divided into two ways:

Direct recovery method: the medium containing waste heat is directly used as fuel combustion and heat release for waste heat recovery, or the high temperature heat energy of the heat carrying medium is recycled through direct radiation for heat conversion;

Indirect recovery method: The use of heat exchange device to convert waste heat energy into secondary available heat energy, which is a very common application of waste heat recovery method.

The waste heat recovery technology of plate heat recovery?is an indirect recovery method, which is suitable for the thermal energy conversion of medium containing waste heat such as gas and liquid. It can be fully countercurrent layout, and the terminal temperature difference is small, which is particularly important for low-grade waste heat recovery.
