Washington D.C., Day 2
Washington D.C., Day 2: I met with Diana Moss and Bert Foer, the current and past president of the American Antitrust Institute for breakfast. We discussed a number of issues, including current trends in antitrust enforcement and the dynamics of advocacy.
George Washington University's Competition Law Center hosted a talk and panel discussion around the "matchmaker economy" and its implications for antitrust law. There were a good mix of different voices, and I asked a question on operationalizing behavioral economics in antitrust analysis of these industries.
I met Koren Wong-Ervin (George Mason University) for afternoon tea. She graciously showed me around the beautiful DuPont Circle neighborhood, and to the Cosmos Club where I was to have a dinner engagement.
With David Evans (Global Economics Group) and Randy Tritell (FTC).
