I have finished preparing my novel, A WARSAW CHRONICLE, for publication by Regal House Publishing. Based on my experience as visiting professor at Warsaw University during the advent of martial law (1981-82), I began the novel as a personal account of my thoughts and feelings as a stranger in a strange land. I then created first-person accounts of two other major characters, thus allowing my story to unfold from three separate viewpoints. I owe a special debt of gratitude to my Regal House editors, Jaynie Royal and Ruth Feiertag, for urging me further to particularize the inner workings of the hearts and minds of all three characters in conflict with themselves and each other.
