It’s No Longer Sufficient to Wage War On Earth; Fighting In Space Will Be Coming Next

I saw an article posted on 'Yahoo news' today that evidently originated from Military.com. It reported on some things that have been said by US and Japanese government and military leaders concerning some alleged threats made just days ago against US and Japanese satellites by Russian and Chinese officials. The article was titled, "Attacks on Satellites May Bring a Military Response", and I quote a small portion of it below:
"Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced alongside Japanese officials on Wednesday that they would consider military retaliation in response to attacks on satellites, a policy that puts China and Russia on notice amid looming threats in space.
"Space Force and US Space Command are in charge of monitoring and protecting America's satellite fleet. With additional treaty obligations between the U.S. and Japan, American forces could be drawn into a skirmish if Japanese satellites are targeted.
"The outer space component of this is important to the security and prosperity of our alliance. We agreed, as you've heard, that attacks to, from or within space present a clear challenge, and we affirmed that, depending on the nature of those attacks, this could lead to the invocation of Article V of our Japan-US Security Treaty," Blinken said, referencing the number of the clause in the treaty that covers mutual defense. "That is significant." You can read the whole story from this link. (Copyright 2023 Yahoo news, used by permission from Military.com)
We Have Yet to Learn From History
For at least the last 10,000 years or more – maybe much more, who can say – humanity has waged war from within itself. Ten thousand years ago, there were at most one million people alive on the earth. Since the earth is 196.9 million square miles, that means there was 197 square miles for each person alive at the time. Yet this was not enough for some. It is an unfortunate fact of life that there are some people who are never satisfied. They always crave more, until their demands become insatiable and overbearing. This is clearly what makes such people a threat to the rest of the population.
What God Almighty Originally Commanded Us
Every raid on one village or encampment begat another, and then still another and so on. Today we live in a world that can be vaporized by nuclear weaponry in the span of an hour. All humanity has collectively forgotten about how we began, and how this world originated. Allow me to quote some relevant Scriptures to you. Genesis chapter 1 verse 28 says, “God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.’” God has told none of us to begin methodically exterminating any and all life on this planet, nor had He given us his blessing for the nuclear weapons we have stockpiled.
A Prophecy of Daniel
In Daniel chapter 9 verse 26, the Prophet wrote, "26) After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolation's have been decreed”. I can explain the meaning of this verse, and it’s not hard to understand. The 62 “sevens” represent the passage of time from the first Passover, which occurred in Egypt just prior to the Israelite’s being set free from 400 years of captivity, until the Last Supper, the night that Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot.
The “Anointed One” is obviously a reference to Christ. “The end will come like a flood” refers to the fall of Jerusalem to the Roman Empire in 70AD, when the temple was destroyed. This was the very same temple that the Pharisee’s and Saduccee’s had brought Jesus before the Sanhedrin to answer the “charges” against him. I would call that ‘poetic justice’. But the following sentence is a prophecy that has yet to be fulfilled: “War will continue until the end, and desolation's have been decreed”. That inevitably means up until the present day and beyond.
The Two Greatest Commandments
Nobody has the right to wage war, excluding matters of self-defense. It is written in Exodus chapter 20 verse 13, “You shall not commit murder.” Christ Jesus himself has taught us to, “Love the Lord your God with all your might, mind, soul and strength”, and He then added, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself. These two commands sum up all the Law and the prophets.” These commandments of the Lord Jesus do not read like a call to arms. They read like a call to embrace one another in unconditional love. They read like a proclamation for everyone to turn in their guns, and to report anyone who still has any.
Who, If Anyone, Has the Right to Wage War?
Jesus also taught us, “If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” (Matt. 5: 39) That means it’s not OK to take revenge against one another. In the Old Testament it is written, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay”. It’s time for the whole of humanity to stop fighting long enough to listen to what God has to say to each of us. Will everyone please put down all those guns you’re hiding behind and stop all your fighting, scuffling and skirmishing? There are too many people on the planet these days to the point that waging war will only lead to more innocent civilians getting killed. Only a peacetime economy will generate sufficient prosperity that it can be equally shared unconditionally, making war obsolete.
The Long-Forgotten Solution Is In Our Hands; It’s Up To Us to Implement It
The solution to all this war and killing has been staring at us the entire time. It can be found In the Book of Revelation chapter 19 verse 11, where the Word says, “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.” The rider on the white horse is Jesus Christ, and it is He alone who wages war. Those who have been doing all the fighting and the killing have been presuming to do God’s job for him, as if we ever could. Those who wage war upon the entire planet have made themselves to be usurpers of the unlimited power of Almighty God. When Christ returns, he will judge them all accordingly.
