Is it a warning or a good sign?

Is it a warning or a good sign?

Below, I talk about how I once told my mentor to “find” himself. ;) (I didn’t use that word. I used a better one.) But before I tell you about that, let’s talk about what’s in today’s video.

It’s predictable. In fact, I’ve learned that it’s nearly inevitable.

It’s about when you decide to make a big move in your business – and I mean, a big, scary, oh-my-god kind of decision, like making a big leap in your pricing, shifting your focus to a new target audience, hiring a new (expensive) team member or a fabulous new business coach that stretches your finances…

…and you start to feel ill, like something is going terribly wrong.

In this week’s video, I’ll share with you what to do about it and how you can know whether it’s a warning sign or what we at Boldheart affectionately call “The Big Breakdown Before The Big Breakthrough.” Watch it now:

It’s happened to me so many times. I make a decision that scares the @#$%& out of me, one that I know will get me where I want to go faster than if I didn’t do it, and then all hell seems to break loose around me.

I become anxious. Or I start to cry incessantly like I’m mourning the loss of something that’s dear to me, even though I don’t know what that is. Or, my technology breaks down all at once as if the Mercury Retrograde is against me. Or, I get super (icky) sick for weeks.

What. Is. That. About!?

Here’s the deal.

It’s about your ego, doing whatever it takes to keep you small, exactly where you are now.

Here’s the truth about how our ego works: it doesn’t much care about the bigger, brighter, bolder future that we want. Our ego wants things to stay the same, no matter how much we don’t want them to stay the same.

So, the ego manufactures fear and (very persuasive) reasoning as to why we should STOP WHAT WE ARE DOING AT ALL COSTS and return to status quo.

Our previous programming and belief system is literally in a tug of war with our dreams and aspirations.

The other truth: until we consciously override our ego, it will be more powerful than our intentions. And I fully believe (in fact I know, because I’ve seen it so many times) that this can show up as somewhat unusual physical ailments, temporary financial struggles, perhaps relationship discord…lots of unusually “scary” stuff.

But, if you will recognize it for what it is, a fight or flight fear that’s being triggered, even though there is nothing to actually fear, you too, like our members, will just ride out the (short) storm.

That’s what I did years ago. As I made a decision to reach 7 figures in my business, everything went haywire. Anything that could have gone wrong in my business DID go wrong.

And my mentor at the time laughed and said, “Congratulations! You’re on your way to 7 figures!”

I growled an expletive at him (somewhat jokingly, but, well, not really) and then I did decide to stay the course and not turn back. And within a very short period of time, I reached my goal of 7 figures.

And when you learn to do what I share with you in the video, you will literally outmaneuver your ego’s ability to do its thing…and you’ll reap the benefits of your efforts and reach the big goal you’ve set for yourself.

Without this skill, you’ll do what most people do, which is have the swollen eye and cancel the event, or have the financial setback and tell the new hire that you’ve changed your mind.

It really, truly is the big breakdown before the big breakthrough, but it is short. And when you recognize it for what it is and learn to navigate it, it is truly the difference between making it or not.

Deep breaths! You’ve got this.

I’m here for you,

Fabienne

P.S. Ever thought of working with me to play a much bigger game in your business and reach goals you previously thought were out of your reach? Listen to your intuition and let’s talk. Go here to schedule a call, and we’ll see if we can help, OK? I’d love to work with you.

P.P.S. Go ahead and share this quote:
