WARNING: Do Not Try This at Home - Explosive Revenue Results May Occur ("2 To Do" Lists)

"Explosive Revenue!

This content contains highly revenue generating information that some agencies may find intimidating!

See why here. . . "

I saw this post on LinkedIn yesterday (it's about TV ads) and I was like "Aha! Here's someone who understands The Art of "The Hook."

Before I get into today's topic about your EXPLOSIVE RESULTS (an expression I find exciting, hilarious, and disturbing at the same time), I'm always gonna be here to remind you of this primal, primal fact.

Do not spend a bunch of time working on content, either by yourself or with the AI GPT buddy of your choice, and then post it without doing your very AI/Human best to find a first line, subject line, headline, thumbnail, etc. etc., that's gonna Make The People Click.

(Beginners create content by topic. Experts create content by TITLE - meaning they don't post until they've got that great beginning that hooks us in and makes us watch or read or listen).

Got it? Good.

Now, let's move on to these "Explosive Results" from the comfort of your own home.

I'm about to get very, very Woo Woo on you. . .

**************************************************

Every day I make two "To Do" lists.

On the left side of the page, is "Ellen"s To Do list.

On the right side of the page, is the To Do list labeled "Universe."

When I do this on the regular, I am STUNNED at all the things the Universe gets done for me, with remarkably little effort on my part.

For example. This past month, I decided I wanted to spend way more time teaching and speaking in "Right Rooms with Right Fit Clients" - which in my case tends to be experts who own businesses in the $500K-$5M range, usually agencies or coaching/consulting practices.

So for the Universe's "To Do" list, on the right side column, I put, "3 incredible teaching/training gigs in rooms full of my perfect clients."

And then I start paying attention.

And I keep paying attention.

I notice all the little opportunities that start coming my way:

For example, in this case:

  • A former client asks me to come speak to her mastermind group, which turns out to be for 7-figure women business owners.
  • An old friend from college reaches out who needs help with a keynote presentation for a conference at Google. Also, do I potentially want to speak with her clients at Google who need my help? Why yes. Yes I do.
  • A prospect (who rejected a proposal to work with us several weeks ago) emails an enthusiastic introduction to the host of a podcast I already follow, but never thought of approaching.

"The Universe" is generally more effective - and magical - in producing "explosive" results from its "To Do" list than I am in mine, so I've learned to give it lots of the bigger things, especially where I don't currently know how best to take action.

I keep my own "To Do's" more immediate, such as "Pick up prescription for anti-inflammatory for your broken leg, you dope."

Don't believe me?

Try it every day for 2 weeks.

Make your own list fairly short, practical, prioritizing just 3 things you want to get done, things you CAN do today that will feel good to you.

Give the Universe every other "To Do" - like a college student coming home for the weekend with a bag of dirty laundry you shove at your Mom: "Here you go!"

I know this is on "The Woo" side.

If you prefer, give your second "To Do" list to The Quantum Field, or to G*d, or A Power Greater Than Myself. Whatever you prefer.

I like living in a world of wonder, gratitude, and spooky "coincedence" sh*t I can't explain.

When I wrote about this a couple of weeks ago, y'all had some great questions, so I will answer one of the big ones here as best I can.

Q: Do you write the same things in the Universe column every day? Or until you see the results of those things you're asking the Universe to do?

A: You can express your desire in whatever way you wish. This isn't about "magic word voodoo." This is about calling in solutions - and then taking action when it's time for the thing/situation to move to YOUR To Do List.

So in the example I gave above about "Find 3 Great Rooms for Teaching/Training:

  • I gave the job to the Universe for it's To Do List
  • Once those opportunities showed up, the next actions got moved to my "To Do" list, and I sent emails/texts back to all these people and made plans to fulfill those requests.

Or, in the example about my broken leg (hairline fractures showed up from when I broke my leg in 67 places 20 years ago):

  • I gave the Universe the "To Do" of "Heal my ankle completely, better than ever"- because the nature of the injury was really weird, and I didn't know what kind of doctor/healer/treatment I should pursue.
  • As the Universe "sends" me these perfect people - a "Bionic Ankle" orthopedic specialist, an acupuncturist, and an incredible healing idea from the internet, I take action, make appointments, because it's now on MY To Do list!

What about you? Feel free in the comments below to give the Universe ANY orders for its "To Do" list where you'd like to see some speedy and effective, and even, dare I say: EXPLOSIVE Results! Wink wink.

This is great, Ellen Melko Moore, and makes me even start to THINK in headlines, which is fun to me. I love the idea of a universe column, which will hopefully help balance my overachieving to-do list with actual awareness. Thank you.

Don't try to take on too much, or you'll just end up feeling overwhelmed. If you're not sure what to put on which list, you can always ask for help from a friend or family member.
