A Warmth-filled Wednesday

It was yet another fulfilling day, yet another baby step in our journey in education for Fortess. We selected the Government school in Adilabad in Telengana to kick off the initiative of setting up a SmartLab with 5 desktop computers. We have selected Digital Teacher as an application that assists the teachers in teaching the students of 8th 9th and 10th standard.The application is aligned with the State syllabus of Telengana.?This was taken up as a pilot in one school. We plan to use this as a pre cursor to many more launches to other schools in this district. We will also ensure we are continuously engaged with schools for effective usage of the facilities extended. It would be our duty to sustain this effort. Our thanks to Mr.Digambarji, Trustee, Ekalavya Foundation, and Mr. Mihir Kumar Parial, Vice Chairman of Ekalavya Foundation,?Mr. Sudhakar, the Headmaster and the teachers of the school. I would like to acknowledge the special efforts taken by Dr. Ramesh Tumuluru from Fortess to make this event happen.? Our special thanks to Mr. Ramadorai,? Mr. Mahalingam,?Ms. Vijaya Deepthi,?Mr. MGPL Narayana, Dr. Kesavaswamy and many others who attended the event remotely and also shared their thoughts with the students, the school authorities and teachers on the vision of Fortess to serve the under-served communities across Adilabad district and the Telengana state and the nation at large. It was indeed a very heartening experience for many of us.? For Fortess, this is the third initiative we have launched following our programs in West Bengal and Tamilnadu.? It is our earnest endeavor to? to expand these initiatives in school education to as many states as possible. We look forward to our Fortess members to continuously support us on this journey.
