The Warm Winds of July

As a PPP infrastructure projects developer working with governments, our project stories have great virtue and wisdom. The greatest lesson we learned is that the biggest obstacle opposing development in most countries was not technological difficulty. It is political corruption.

It is easy to defeats any technical or scientific challenge. However, it is tough to beats a corrupt political system that is interwoven with bad ambition and dirty money. You can negotiate what a democratic country but you cannot win in a Mafia run state. The general public pay the price mainly. This is how the future of many nations was lost. This is how the lost opportunity for many generations of young people is stolen away by the greed of one person or one gang disguised as a political party or a family.

The American Constitution, written by Thomas Jefferson, as in the Declaration of Independence starting with the Golden words “We The People” should be the rule around the world. Such constitution must be achieved and It must be defended. The fate of a nation should not be left one for one man. It is a decision that should be made by the people and for the people.

Bad distribution of wealth, poor education, twisted mass and tabloid media, lack of basic life needs and good public services are only signs of such political corruption. The in ability over establishing or enforcing justice is another sign. Hidden political agendas and undisclosed political directions is also another serious indication of autocracy. The regime of one person, or one party, against the rule of law and the rule over people should not be accepted nor tolerated. And all those who can oppose such rules and such tyranny must arise. United they must stand, united they march, and united they will rise.

The laws of nature are made to prevail in The world of humans. Justice, freedom and equilibrium are only few signs of such balance in life. And wherever or whenever one sees an act of injustice then we know that something that is not right happening in that land and that that in that period of time.

People should never assume corrupt people with powers are willing to give away their loots without fight or power struggle. Therefore, never assume that the journey for justice and freedom is pleasant or easy.

The French Revolution and the American Revolution, both occurred in July. The warm winds of summer blew across the land to liberate the people from the tyranny of the system. And to re-establish the fate of the nation in the hands of democracies where the public rules itself under the rule of law.

As in all societies, the masses always look for a good leader. Good leadership is made as much as it is born. And it arrives in a timely manner. And the contract between the people on the leader must be established by social contract.

In today’s world, such social contract has become could do or in need of total review and rejuvenation. The problem is, our present world is facing great challenges: political, economic, sociodemographic, environmental and climactic.

Few of the G20 national leaders show signs of accountability and ownership of solutions to resolving such serious issues. Many of world leaders today lack the knowledge, the vision, or the political will to address problems and providing effective solutions. The world had never been such a mess, except prior to the 1914 first world war.

False perceptions, blind ambitions, greed and selfishness, poor knowledge and bad judgment are all combined reasons for creating the recipe of crisis. On the other hand, the reign of fear and tyranny confiscate the free will of the people and looting the resources for healthy change.

Fresh warm winds of change will arrive to reinstate freedoms for people. It shall re-establish justice for all and provide reward and solace for the poor. And it shall bring comfort to the wounded souls who were in dire need for immediate comprehensive and true reform before such glorious moment in time was possible.
