Warfare Is Based On Deception

Does your company exhibit at 2+ trade shows a year? What if there's a way to get 2-5x more business from your booth? Would that be worth a conversation?
Welcome to another “Frivolous Friday” installment.
This one is a good one.
I want to share one of my favorite videos that I watched this week, and it’s pretty funny.
The nerd in the screenshot up top is actually a phenomenal basketball player.
He goes to Venice beach and biffs a bunch of shots to make it look like he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Then he destroys everyone.
It’s a classic con:
Step 1: Hide your power level.
Step 2: Make people think you’re an easy mark.
Step 3: Rip them to shreds & take all their money.
And that’s why I love this video as the perfect example of Sun Tzu’s quote:
“All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.” ― Sun tzu, The Art of War
Best thoughts, ~Jonathan
