Wanted: Cyber Security Analysts

I am currently seeking an SOC (Security Operations Center) Analyst to join my team in Lisbon, Portugal. I am looking for an individual with unique personal attributes that make them stand out in the cybersecurity field. The role requires more than just technical expertise. Critical Thinking: A substantial portion of the role involves distinguishing between false positives and real threats. The ability to apply logic and reasoning to assess security events and incidents, and make crucial decisions that impact the organization's cybersecurity posture, is key.

Adaptability: In a field where cybersecurity threats evolve daily, I need an SOC Analyst who can adapt quickly. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to new technologies, threat vectors, and methodologies.

Proactive Nature: I am interested in candidates who don't just react to incidents but proactively identify weaknesses, suggest improvements, and work to avert issues before they arise.

Excellent Communication Skills: As an SOC Analyst on my team, you will be required to convey complex technical information to non-technical colleagues. Your ability to articulate complicated concepts in a clear and concise manner, both in writing and verbally, is essential.

Resilience under Pressure: Cybersecurity often involves high-stakes situations. Your ability to remain composed, maintain clear thinking, and perform effectively under pressure is crucial.

Furthermore, to be considered for this role, you must hold European citizenship and/or a residential permit for Portugal. Proficiency in English is also a prerequisite as it is the main language used in our work environment.
