We’re truly lucky at Chop Dawg to have such an amazing following.
Every day, dozens of entrepreneurs reach out to us, asking for our help, our assistance, our feedback and of course, our opinions.
We’re proud of the fact that we have become what many consider an influential brand in our space. It’s an accomplishment and says a lot about the people we have working here at Chop Dawg, day in and day out.
With that said, an important thing to note for those who are trying to have their companies do the same thing…
This didn’t happen overnight.
A lot of companies try to immediately fake it that they’re the best.
I’m all for the fake it until you make its strategy, but the concept behind that is you need to act as if you’ve already made it, not pretend that you have.
There is a difference.
So how can your company actually be influential?
How can you have a brand that makes people want to immediately work with you?
It’s simple.
Product results.
Results drive everything.
Results generate more revenue. Results drive more customers. Results build branding clout.
Results also prove that you actually know what you’re talking about, therefore, you can immediately become influential.
Focus on everything you can to produce results, not build influence.
This is where most companies screw up.
Some of the most influential brands and companies in the world exist because they worked, and worked, and continued to work for years before ever flipping the switch on being an influencer. They leveraged their successes and results to catapult their influence and scale it.
It’s easy to see why most companies don’t try to go this route. It’s because it will take time and a lot of work.
Years of work.
For example, we’ve been around for over seven years now.
We aren’t a new startup that just opened it’s doors a few months ago.
We’re a company that has generated millions in revenue, almost two hundred clients worldwide and success stories left and right to show for it.
Once you have the results to back up where you want to be an influencer for a company, actually becoming influential isn’t difficult.
Yes, you need to know how to spread content, interact on social media, become a thought-leader, but that’s the easy part. The hard part, which most companies will never accomplish, is to drive the results day after day that leads to influence.
