Want To Be An Underwater Cinematographer?
Rosemary E. Lunn (Roz)
Senior Diving Standards Inspector at UK Ministry of Defence
Ever thought of trying your hand as a TV underwater cinematographer?
Becky Kagan Schott - a deep closed circuit rebreather (CCR) diver and WDHOF member - is an Emmy Award winning underwater cameraman. Her work can be seen on major networks including National Geographic and Discovery Channel. In October she will be giving you an insight into her extraordinary profession at this year's EUROTEK.
Becky will take you on a tour, around the world, as you visit some of her more challenging projects From shooting deep 100 mt / 328 ft wrecks in the Great Lakes, to abseiling into caves in the jungle, or filming under Arctic ice. She even has been asked to capture footage of Great White sharks outside of a cage. Every job calls for a different gear configuration - often with large teams of camera assistants - to capture the perfect shot. There is never room for error.
Join Becky and 29 other leading scuba / rebreather explorers and experts at the European advanced diving conference on the 8th and 9th October 2016 at The ICC, Birmingham, England.

8 年At the moment I have friends who are underwater photographers/videographers. But they are struggling to make ends meet, because everybody and their dog now has a go pro and of course can make movies and photo's themselves....But maybe this is different! This is on another professional level I can imagine there are not many jobs in this field of work!
