According to a recent study — at least 50% of self-made millionaires have a well structured morning routine…but what do we do during those morning hours to ensure that we're seeing success now? Read on…
How you start your morning dictates your mood, energy, and performance for the rest of the day. Which means it has a HUGE impact on your success.
Here are the 5 best morning routine secrets to automatically boost your success…
#1 Wake up to your Alarm.?
Truthfully, it matters less what time you set it for- 4am, 5am, 6am, or 11am, you choose. The most important thing is that you wake up at the time you set on your alarm.?
Our subconscious mind accounts for 95% of our brain, and it is responsible for 90% of our results- aka: the subconscious mind is extremely powerful and not just in a “woo woo” way. So we must be extremely cautious of the thoughts and ideas we feed our subconscious, as they will determine the majority of our outcomes. Snoozing sends a message to your subconscious that its okay to not hold yourself accountable.
Essentially you are telling your subconscious: I know I told you I'm going to get up at 8:00 a.m., but I lied to you. You will start keeping the rest of your agreements when you wake up to that alarm. So, first and foremost, do not press the snooze button!
#2? Digital Detox: Don't look at your phone for at least an hour when you first wake up
I know, your eyes are already rolling, but hear me out:
We're all aware that our brains are being bombarded with more information than ever before. Consider this: Our brain has not evolved at all in the last 10,000 years, but think about how much more information our brain has received in the last few years. Thanks to laptops, the Internet, phones, Instagram, tik-tok, and all of the social media platforms, the amount of input has increased by tens, hundreds, or thousands of times.
Addiction is built into the design of social networking sites.
When you look at your phone, you get a scientifically proven dopamine rush. With the dopamine rush, you're becoming addicted to your phone.? And it is affecting our health.?One study?from California State University found that individuals who visited a social media site at least 58 times per week were 3x more likely to feel socially isolated and depressed.

#3 DO the Difficult things First.
I'm not sure if you've ever heard the expression "eat the frog first" here's my video about it)
Do you the hardest thing on your to-do list first. When we have a hard task looming (the frog), we spend the whole day wasting time, energy, and focus postponing the inevitable. When we just go ahead and do it first, our confidence increases, our productivity flourishes and we reach our goals faster. So, do the most difficult task first thing in the morning. Everything else is easy because you feel accomplished and ready to face the day. So start with the most difficult tasks.
#4 Move your Body.
It makes no difference what kind of workouts you do, you just need to move. Many people are unaware that we have an additional lymphatic system in our bodies. Your circulatory system includes your heart, which is a muscle that pumps blood throughout your body. The difference is that your lymphatic system helps detoxify the blood and the muscles. It cleanses your entire body, and it actually helps you think clearly. Make sure you drain all of those toxins out of your body first thing in the morning so you can think clearly and take action.
#5 Prepare the Night Before.
Yes, one of the best things for your morning routine is not something you should do in the morning. It's the previous night. When you wake up, you're drowsy, especially because you didn't snooze! You want to do everything you can the night before to make your morning routine stupid proof, because this will ensure success.?
Summing it up:
We all know that in the end, your morning routine could be one of the most powerful things you can do to help send you on the right track to success because the truth is that action can get you to take the first step, but habits are what will help you cross the finish line, so let's get that morning routine locked in and loaded.
Be a Warrior, Not a Worrier,

2 年I love it Rebecca Babcock. I totally agree with the way you put it. I believe a lot in a formula called: The Farm Boy Morning Routine. Very similar to what you say. It encourages us to do that Difficult Thing first before doing all the Work-Out, Yoga, Reading and all the things people always talk about in terms of morning routines. Eating that Frog is so so important. In Baseball it is the equivalent of scoring 7 runs in the first inning. Just because of that good inning, that team has 90%+ odds to win that game.
