If you're not making the number of sales you want each month then there's a good chance it could be because you're hiding your offer behind too many freebies.

Last week I received a really awesome story-type email from a coach who helps business owners with mindset-related coaching.

It was a captivating, engaging read and the story was a metaphor to illustrate just one of the things he helps his clients with.

I hung onto every last word, interested to see some information about his offer because I'm not really sure what exactly he does...

Got to the end and instead of his offer statement and how to find out more details about his program (like we do in The Client Accelerator ), his CTA was to book a free coaching call with him. ??

I've been following this coach for a while and although I have an idea about what he does, I don't know exactly how he helps his clients, what type of business owners he works with or the result he helps them achieve which are all the things I need to know to be able to decide if I might want to work with him.

If you want to book high-ticket clients consistently then the first step to achieving this is to stop hiding your offer behind freebies and rather talk about it openly and often.

Most coaches hide their offer because it's what they've been taught to do and they don't want to come across as being salesy

But here's the thing...

I'm a high-ticket client and if I'm looking for a solution to a problem or help achieving a goal I don't want to have to get on free coaching calls or go through free challenges or even a 60-minute sales call just to find out what exactly you do and how you can help me.

In fact, this is the fastest way to lose me as a client. I'd rather look for someone who doesn't bury their offer behind freebies. (your high-ticket clients will feel the same as well)

High-ticket clients don't need a ton of?nurturing, freebies or to go through all your mini-offers before you present your high-ticket transformational offer. We know what we want and are happy to pay top dollar for it.

We just need you to demonstrate you're the expert who can help us reach our goals by speaking to our specific situation and HOW you can help.

I know this goes against "traditional" marketing advice where we've been taught to create funnels, freebies and upsells galore and to "share the what, not the how."

But when I stopped offering various freebies to get prospects on a call and started going into detail about my markets situation, why they weren't achieving their desires, how to fix this and sharing clear, direct offers to work with me in my content ...

I suddenly stopped attracting all the freebie seekers and instead started attracting higher-quality clients (and more of them as well)

If you want fewer "freebie seekers" and objections at the end of your sales calls there are a couple of things you need in place:

  1. A have-to-have-NOW, Easy-Yes Offer that's designed to get a specific result for a specific type of person.
  2. A way to communicate with your market about who you help, how you can help them (your processes) and the results they can expect to achieve from working with you, including short offer statements so it's clear how everything works and what step they must take to sign up with you.
  3. A way to write direct offer posts that shows your market your (high-level) step-by-step process so they see it's exactly what they need and can self-select your program.

When you get this right you'll soon have high-quality prospects reaching out to you wanting to work with you and at least 1 high-ticket client signing up each week without needing to get on a 60-minute sales call with you.
