You may take this article with a pinch of salt, because I'm about to go all salesy on your arse (ass for you sweet, sweet Americans and Canadians).
I don't sell things for no reason, though. There's a point to all of this.
If you're a business or entrepreneur lacking clients, your best sales asset is likely sitting in your inbox. By this I mean your existing clients - especially if you've done a good job (I don't think I need to tell you that approaching the clients where everything went wrong from the start is not a sensible move).

With this in mind, what is trustworthy content? I'm going out on a limb here to say it's case studies. Case studies are GOLD. Why? Because your ideal clients see themselves in them. They can relate.
They think, pretty much immediately, "Oh, this person got a great result from working with this company. They're actually in my industry. Oh, and I see that they're a similar size to us." All of a sudden, they feel reassured.
That magic trust factor comes in (and I don't need to tell you how important it is that potential clients trust you). They don't even need to like you - although I'm sure of course that they do.
And if you're in the B2B space? Even more important (see one I made earlier below).
Case studies help you build credibility (because they show you have actual clients), they showcase real results, and, BAM! they turn prospects into buyers ??????
I don't want to create case studies
I hear you. If I were you, I wouldn't want to, either.
