Want to Make Biking Better Where You Live?
Biking in Utrecht will put a smile on your face

Want to Make Biking Better Where You Live?

Biking as a means of transportation is growing exponentially around the world. And one of the fastest ways to learn what it takes to create a safer, more efficient bike network, is to visit and experience first hand some of the top ranked cities for biking. Since visiting Copenhagen for the first time 5 1/2 years ago, I've had the good fortune of visiting and biking some of the other 'top 10' ranked cities (as ranked by Copenhagenize), including Amsterdam, Vienna, Oslo, Antwerp and going back to last November, the lesser known city (at least in North America) of Utrecht. With a population of a most 360,000 - Utrecht is without a doubt a world leader when it comes to creating a bike friendly experience.

Here's the online version of the article written for Postmedia entitled "Learning from Utrecht's World Class Biking Experience."
