The problem?
The health and fitness industry isn’t all roses and sunshine.
When I used to work in a gym I wanted to encourage the inactive members to use the facilities.
I suggested emailing/calling them.
I was told that would "wake" them up and they may cancel if I did.
"Never wake the sleepers, Mike," he said.
So much for the fitness industry.
So with pressure sales and marketing tactics on one side and corporate fat cat's on the other...
