It’s quite simple, we’re looking for GREAT people to join us… Recruitment is all about people, and so it makes sense that we’re looking for the best in the business to join us in our mission to create the BEST RECRUITMENT BUSINESS in the Midlands.
Some of you will have seen & heard bits & pieces around what we’re all about, some of you may not. Let me take this opportunity to make it crystal clear what Distinct Recruitment is all about, and an insight into where we’re headed.
The start...
Distinct was formed in January 2015 by James Calder & Arran Jaiswal. In James’ previous role as CEO of Macildowie he led the business to 3 Top 20 rankings in the Sunday Times “Best Small Companies to Work For” survey, including a 5th place ranking in 2014 – so I’m confident in saying he knows a thing or two about what it takes to create a brilliant place to work in recruitment :)
Since those early days we’ve grown rapidly to establish ourselves as a leading force within the East Midlands Professional services recruitment market. Our client base includes the likes of Boots, Specsavers, Vision Express, Next, Greene King, DFS, Dunelm, E.On, Games Workshop, Wilkinsons, as well as a host of other amazing SME businesses across the East Midlands.
By the end of this year we’ll have over 20 staff and over the next few weeks we’ll be moving out of our West Bridgford premises into new offices in the heart of Nottingham… NEWS FLASH: this won’t be ‘just another office’… we’re talking about 8,000sq ft of dynamic, innovative, and contemporary work space that we plan to call home for up to 30-40 staff over the next 12-24mths.
Think… Beer Fridges… Ping Pong tables… Bean Bags… SONOS speakers, and you’re about on the right track.

We’re looking for people to join us, & we’re open on the level of experience you have, to work within all of our professional disciplines, and to give you an idea, I’m looking for at least 2 but as many as 4 people to join my Accountancy division over the next 12mths.
