Want to Become Known and Make an Impact? You're in the Right Place!
Welcome to Become Known and Make an Impact!
I'm grateful you’ve stopped by and I'm super excited to be sharing all things about A/E/C communication.
Whether you’re new to business, been around the block a few times, a business development manager, marketer, or C-level exec, you've probably noticed that communication is not a fad.
It ain’t going out of style anytime soon.
Our communication and self-confidence are the cornerstones of success.
Architects, engineers, and construction professionals want to improve their interpersonal communication. They want to feel confident and clear so they can make a bigger impact.
Maybe you want to clean up presentations or don't know how to share stories in shortlisted meetings. Maybe you're stuck on writing clear e-mails and leadership skills.
Or you feel awkward when networking and want to show up with confidence, the right words, and body language to have deeper connections.
I’ve got your back with ridiculously impressive ROIs.
One client, an architecture firm, applied the strategies I taught at a live program. They closed 3 of 3 projects the following week!
My goal with this newsletter is to share higher level communication strategies so you win trust and business.
What I teach and train on goes beyond Active Listening, Toastmasters, and Emotional Intelligence.
Here, you'll get written posts, quick tips, short videos, resources and more.
We publish content on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. (Reach out if you're looking for a specific topic.)
??So, everyone has a story to share. Here's mine....
I didn’t speak until I was 4-years-old.
My parents thought I was deaf, but the doctor said I was fine. I just didn’t “need” to talk. If I was hungry, I banged on the refrigerator. Food would appear. ??
Instead of talking, I listened and watched. I was curious.
I went to college, and ironically, I majored in Mass Communication. I found the campus radio station and was hooked.

After graduation, I worked for 10 years as an on-air radio news reporter and anchor. I'm a publicist, speaker, and entrepreneur.
I've interviewed everyone from homeless people to presidents.
So, what does this have to do with A/E/C and business development?
Exceptional marketers—and reporters—embrace curiosity. They are astute listeners. ??
In newsrooms, I quickly learned to ask powerful questions. And notice nuances that others miss.
Knowing how to encapsulate just the right details inside a compelling story is essential.
Especially in our competitive, noisy world.
Few people have this kind of experience.
Insatiable curiosity led me to study Neurolinguistic Programming. NLP is about human behavior, leadership, negotiation, and self-confidence.
NLP strategies help reprogram our minds for success. You gain respect, have more opportunities, and have deeper connections that grow business.?
So, what truly separates me from others?
It’s my charming personality.???
I have a no-nonsense, bada**, and heartfelt style. (A native of New Jersey, we moved to San Antonio in 2006.)
Blend this with deep experience in news, storytelling, and NLP, and YOU get exceptional growth, collaborations, opportunities, and meaningful relationships.??
Practical and tactical communication strategies for life in ways you've never heard before.??
??Offerings include keynote speeches, private trainings (in-person and virtual), and our 3-month group coaching program for A/E/C firms (called Amplify).??
If you want to close more projects, look beyond bid packages and data.
Look in the mirror because YOU are the message. ??
