Wandering Through History in Germany

Wandering Through History in Germany

I’ve been remiss posting lately because I have been SWAMPED! Which is sort of a good thing, but it makes getting a newsletter out the door extra hard. I’m picking up where I left off during our sit in Germany, celebrating the holidays.

Things were mostly quiet between Christmas and New Year’s, so we decided to jump in the car and visit a few obscure places and feed our sightseeing addiction.

First on our list was Frankenstein Castle.

Now this was confusing because we’d gotten a lot of mixed signals about the venue. We were warned that it was closed, they were doing construction, and no parking was to be had.

But we drove up, parked directly in front of the building (probably illegally), and strolled inside—no sign of any construction workers.

Click here to view the full SubStack newsletter documenting more of my adventures in the UK and Europe. I hope you enjoy it.

warmly,

-Dr. Vicky Jo
