Wanda Maximoff, a character from the Marvel universe, was exposed to more trauma than most children during their adolescence. She experienced the death of her brother and parents at a young age and went on to lose another loved one: Vision.
Have you ever wondered if Wanda could have dealt with her grief differently had she had been offered resources following Endgame?
Mental Health affects many, whether outwardly or internally. For many, they suffer in silence in their own way which can lead to serious consequences such as suicide. Although Wanda’s story is fictional, the topic of mental health is very real. With Covid-19 going into it’s second year, mental health in conjunction to domestic abuse has increased. We need to remember to practice kindness, compassion, and reach out to others.
